The John C. Campbell Folk School in partnership with South Arts and the Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers will be hosting five virtual film screenings that allow our community to connect through thematic workshops, Q&As with filmmakers, and more. All screenings and Q&As will be at 7:00 p.m. and free to viewers. If you can’t make it to a live film screening or want to watch at your own pace, don’t worry. Films are available to watch up to four days after their screen date through Eventive, so you won’t miss out on viewing. Join us in watching At the Ready on Tuesday, September 28, followed by a Q&A with filmmakers on Wednesday, September 29. Film Synposis: Home to one of the region’s largest law enforcement education programs, students at Horizon High School in El Paso train to become police officers and Border Patrol agents as they discover the realities of their dream jobs may be at odds with the truths and people they hold most dear.
