Watershed Gala

The Hiwassee River Watershed Coalition's annual Watershed Gala is to celebrate our rivers, lakes, and streams and to honor those who work hard to sustain good water quality in them!  At 5:30, we’ll open a silent auction and cash bar; then at 6:30 the banquet will begin.  After we’ve celebrated those people or groups who have made outstanding contributions to sustaining good water quality and the Holman Water Quality Stewardship Award has been presented, dessert will be served and a live auction will be held. At around 8:30, Gnarly Fingers will provide live music and the dance floor will be open!  Proceeds from this fundraiser help support the Coalition’s vital restoration, volunteer monitoring, and education programs in Union and Towns counties in north Georgia and Cherokee and Clay counties in southwestern NC.
