"Wine is a journey, not a destination" Donelan Vineyards is a small, boutique winery in Sonoma County producing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Grenache, and Roussanne. The winery operates four vineyards - Obsidian, Richard's Family, Kobler, and Walker Vine Hill - in their efforts to discover great wine of terroir. A wine of terroir captures a “sense” of a particular place. Donelan Vineyards also emphasize harvest timing to capture variance, whole cluster fermentation, native fermentation, a complementary oak regime and especially - patience. The Donelan family is present at every level of the winery — from the wines named for owner Joe Donelan's mother, wife, and four children to his son Tripp's role as Director of Sales. We are excited to have Tripp with us for this special wine pairing dinner and for the opportunity to learn more about their process of wine discovery.
