Service Advisor

Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers within the service bay with a positive attitude
  • Communicate and work with customers to identify their service needs
  • Consult with technicians regarding needed repairs and alternatives that may be offered in place of expensive repairs
  • Build rapport with customers to ensure a mutual foundation of trust and respect
  • Sell customers, or provide in-depth information, on parts [i.e. tires] and service options
  • Answer questions regarding service outcomes and scheduling and booking appointments and vehicle drop-off 
  • Ensure all details on services rendered and costs are provided to customers
  • Liaison with service technicians regarding parts ordered
  • Provide customers with information and advice on warranty protections, potential cost savings, and advantages of trading in versus fixing their vehicle 
  • Inform customers of changes in service or when their vehicle is ready to be picked up
Qualifications:
  • Motivation to be successful
  • Experience in the automotive field preferred
  • Ability to think on your feet and troubleshoot problems quickly when necessary
  • Positive attitude
  • Strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong computer and phone skills
  • Maintain professional appearance and business uniform
  • Self-starter and ability to work well with our team
  • Valid state driver's license and are authorized to work in the USA
