Kris began his Thrivent career as an advisor in 2005, after serving for twelve seasons as the head men’s soccer coach at Florida Southern College. In 2008 Kris moved into a field leadership role for Thrivent’s Southeast region and was elevated to Partner in 2011. Kris earned numerous company and industry awards during his time in leadership. In 2021, Kris moved back into the financial advisor role so that he could better serve his clients and spend more time with family.

Kris and his wife Debbie met at Florida Southern College in Lakeland FL, and spent 35 years working and serving in the Lakeland community. Debbie is a retired Lutheran school teacher. They moved to the North Georgia mountains in the spring of 2023 to be closer to their two grown children and five grandchildren.
