Bennie Anderson & The Drifters with the Sock Hops

Artist Detail: Bennie sings lead and second tenor harmonies and has been an integral part of the group's overall sound for more than four decades. He had the pleasure of singing with original members that started in 1953 such as Gay Thasher and Bill Pickney. Born in West Point, Georgia, Bennie moved to Atlanta at an early age where he currently resides. He enjoys song writing, a challenging game of basketball, and singing gospel songs while playing the piano.
