Everyone is welcome to come for refreshments, to learn how you and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) can help dependent children and to meet Enotah CASA's staff and Board members. There will be a meet and greet reception. Our volunteers are trained to determine and advocate for what is in the best interest of abused and neglected children who have been removed from their homes by the Department of Family and Children's Services. The goal of this non-profit is to see that a child gets a safe and permanent home as soon as possible. In the last year, 44 CASAs have advocated for 205 children in the Enotah Circuit. The CASA program not only works for children, but saves the counties thousands of dollars with the volunteer hours they put in. If you are interested in learning about volunteering for CASA, call or visit our website.
