Dr. David Lockwood, UGA Extension Fruit Crops and University of Tennessee Extension Fruit & Nut Crops Specialist. Learn what types of fruit trees will grow in this area and how to maintain them. After the seminar, Ray Covington, GMREC Superintendent will give a short presentation on pruning fruit trees, followed by a pruning demonstration in our apple orchard. Please note that the pruning demonstration will require walking outdoors on hills and uneven surfaces. Dress appropriately for the weather.
