Mr. Ray Covington, technician at the GMRE Center, will teach us the reasons why we need to prune apple trees and blueberry bushes in the first place, and when is the best time for pruning. Weather permitting; we will walk to our orchard, where Mr. Covington will demonstrate proper pruning techniques. This seminar will take place outdoors and walking on uneven ground will be required.
