Maintenance Technician
Advanced Digital Cable, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Riverview facility located in Hayesville, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be proactive, skilled in both mechanical and electrical systems, and capable of performing routine maintenance as well as emergency repairs. Key Responsibilities: Equipment maintenance and repair, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, safety and compliance, collaboration & support, parts and inventory management and continuous improvement.
Qualifications: Education-High School diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, ideally within a manufacturing environment and knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment, including CNC machines, conveyor systems motors, pumps and HVAC systems.
Skills & Competencies: Strong mechanical, electrical and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of Programmable logic controller (PLC). Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial environment. Proficient hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and stand for long periods. Comfortable working in a plant or industrial environment, with exposure to noise, dust and varying temperatures.
